The entire was successfully completed within a week with time left over for testing and final changes and has even lead to additional work for myself.
Technologies used:
- Blueprint CSS framework

CCD
Description:
Ergonomic consultancy CCD approached me to work on their company website. The placement students within the company had already created the design for the site and required that I build the site in a way that would allow them to maintain things as easily as possible. I choose to use PHP and use a template system that reduced the number of files, time taken to update sections and overall complexity of the site.
With CCD being based in Central London it was important that after the initial meeting there was still a good level of visibility on my progress of the project. The project management and collaboration tool basecamphq was used to ensure that both parties had access to all project-related communication and media, which is often hidden in e-mail and in people’s heads.
This project taught me a lot in terms of freelance work, using basecamphq to provide visibility on communication worked out to be a great asset. Ensuring that some sort of contract/written agreement is drawn up guarantees that should the client need to expand the scope of the project you will be paid for your time.

- Standards compliant XHTML and CSS
- PHP
- Flash
- CSS sprite techniques
